Policy on the Protection and Handling of Personal Information

Mallet Japan Inc. (the "Company") principally aims at providing services which satisfy and gain the trust of its customers. As a part of achieving this aim, the Company believes that the proper protection and handling of personal information provided by its customers for the purpose of smooth management of the auction business shall be an important social responsibility and a fundamental policy to be observed in conducting its business activities. In order to fulfill this responsibility, the Company shall respect each of the following matters in its handling of personal information.

1. Basic Policy
The Company shall comply with laws concerning personal information and any other related laws and ordinances, and establish and continuously endeavor to improve and enhance this policy and internal regulations. In addition, the Company shall properly store personal information of customers in accordance with the related laws and ordinances in order to prevent leakage, loss, or falsification of personal information.

2. Usage
The Company uses personal information of customers in order to promote appropriate and smooth management of auction businesses. The Company shall obtain such personal information by appropriate means and use it to the appropriate extent. When so requested by a customer, the Company shall promptly stop using the personal information received from that customer.

3. Provision to Third Parties
The Company shall not provide or disclose the personal information of a customer to any third party without the prior consent of the customer; provided, however, that if the Company is required to respond to any legal request of any public office such as a judicial institution or police or is otherwise bound by laws or ordinances, or if the Company outsources any business (to any person including a carrier, certified tax accountant, accountant, or lawyer), the Company may provide personal information to a third party without notice to the relevant customers.

4. Outsourcing
In order to carry out businesses smoothly, the Company may outsource a part of the businesses and entrust the personal information of customers held by the Company to the outsourcee to the necessary extent. In such case, the Company shall appoint an outsourcee that meets the standards prescribed by the Company, execute an agreement on the handling of personal information with such outsourcee, and procure appropriate management and supervision of personal information.

5. Disclosure, Revision, Suspension of Use and Deletion of Registered Description
Please contact the following contact address to request the disclosure, revision, suspension of use, or deletion of personal information held by the Company. The Company shall respond to such request upon confirming your identity.
