1. Packing, shipping and insurance costs (domestic)
The cost of insurance for domestic transport is approximately 0.1%-0.2% of the purchase price, depending on the carrier.
Domestic shipping costs can be paid in advance by cash, bank transfer, credit card, PayPal or cash on delivery.

2. Packing, shipping and insurance (overseas)
Mainly sent by courier service. The insurance fee for overseas shipping varies according to the carrier, but is approximately 0.34%-0.5% of the purchase price. However, if the calculated amount is less than JPY 3,000, a flat rate of JPY 3,000 will be charged. Taxes and duties may apply in the destination country.
Overseas transport fees should be paid in advance by cash, bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal.

Costs other than transport
1. The work of art is sold in as-is condition. If the successful bidder wishes to have the work restored, framed or authenticated after the auction, Mallet Japan Inc. will be happy to discuss this with the successful bidder and carry out the necessary procedures for a fee.
Delivery of purchased property After paying the purchase price for the work, the successful bidder must pick up the work within 10 days of the auction date (or the following day if the last day of this period falls on a non-business day for Mallet Japan Inc.). If the delivery period has passed, the successful bidder will be charged a storage fee (which varies according to the shape and the final hammer price, so please enquire in advance).
If the delivery and pick up period has expired and the successful bidder does not respond to a demand for pick-up, the sales contract may be terminated. If the purchase agreement is terminated, a claim for damages will be made."
Default interest and a claim for damage If the successful bidder fails to pay the full amount of the purchase price by the due date, he/she shall pay default interest on the balance of the purchase price at the rate of 14.6% per annum from the day following the due date to the date of completion of payment. If the unpaid amount is not paid in full despite a demand by Mallet Japan Inc., the purchase agreement may be terminated. If the purchase agreement is terminated, Mallet Japan Inc. shall claim damages.
Liability for nonconformity to contract As the property is inherently old, it shall be sold “as is” and Mallet Japan Inc. shall not be liable for any spots, blemishes, or any other defects or damage caused due to the aging of the property.
Cancellation of sales contracts, refunds, etc. No cancellations or refunds will be accepted for purchased property, except in the following cases: if the property is proven that it is either a stolen or lost item, or not authentic.
